Chicago rickshaw drivers for the children of Kosovo

As another summer season in Chicago transitions into the cold Chicago winter, the Serbian rickshaw drivers community has decided once again to give back. The group of young, hard working Serbian men who peddle their rickshaws in the Chicago heat to earn a living decided to pool together some of their hard earned wages and make a donation to help Serbian children in Kosovo. Last night, we had the pleasure of meeting with those exemplary young men and receive their donation of $1,200 for struggling Serbian families in Kosovo. These young men who work two or even three jobs and use the money they earn from driving rickshaws to help build their own future have once again remembered where they came from and how much their help can mean to the children of Kosovo. On behalf of the Serbs for Serbs family, we would like to thank all of the Serbian Rickshaw Drivers of Chicago for their tremendous contribution for a second year in a row.   Serbs for Serbs Chicago
