"Football tennis from the Blocks" for the first time in New York!

On Monday, October 28th, members of charity organization Serbs for Serbs from New York organized a "Football tennis from the Blocks" tournament together with the owner of  The Ground in Chinatown, Manhattan. Fans of soccer gathered from all sections of the Big Apple to compete in this mini-tournament and help socially impoverished families with many children. Eight teams and 16 contestants competed, and we were able to collect $610 in donations.

Charity organization Serbs for Serbs raised 4 million euros in donations!

From November 2005 to October 2019, Charity organization Serbs for Serbs raised 4 million euros in donations, which has provided aid to over 2.450 underprivileged families with more than 13.000 children across the Balkans. The first million was collected by August 2014, the second million was collected by June 2017, the third million was collected by November 2018, and the fourth was collected in less than a year!

Mini three-pointer from the Block second time in New Gracanica Monastery!

Last year, Serbs for Serbs was invited by the organizers of the Midwest Diocese Summer Camp at New Gracanica Monastery in Third Lake Illinois to be the honorary Charity Organization to try and teach the campers about benefits and helping others.

On Saturday, June 21, 2019, good friends Milenko Mrakovic and Biljana Simic from Las Vegas, Nevada decided to throw a charity pool party with their friends. Ultimately, the goal was to gather with friends to enjoy a beautiful day and at the same time, raise money for Serbian families in need in the Balkans.

Second Three-pointer from the Block held in Boston

On Sunday, May 26, 2019, Serbs for Serbs USA hosted our 2nd annual now-infamous Charity 3-Point tournament Three-pointer from the Block Boston in Cambridge, Massachusetts, at the St Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. The tournament in its second year was a huge success and was able to raise $2,156 for impoverished Serbian families in the Balkans.

Illness has taken a foothold in the home of the Popadic family from Akmacici by Nova Varos

“A healthy person has a thousand wishes, but the ill, only one.” These words were penned long ago by Anton Chekhov, and they were the first to come to mind when we visited the Popadic family from Akmacic by Nova Varos. Sadly, all of the members of this wonderful family have problems with their health, but, surprisingly, you wouldn’t notice one bit of pessimism and glumness in them.
