SFS Canada launched ITFB 2017

Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from Canada launched its 3rd traditional Christmas action "In Time For Bozic 2017" in order to gather donors, members and friends of the organization from Canada to help families Jovanovic-Jankovic from Kladovo, Cvijetic from Glamoc, Paklar, Lukavac and Cosic from Dalmatia. First part of help delivery to KiM

Previous month, members of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs have delivered the first part of the humanitarian aid for 9 out of 20 families from Kosovo whom they paid a visit in October and, in Metohija, the aid was delivered to the residents of Gorazdevac and Rudnica. The total amount of aid for the 20 families and for the residents from Gorazdevac and Rrudnica is 25.280€. This humanitarian action started in the Visoki Decani Monastery, by celebrating slava of the Monastery, St Stefan Decanski.

All together for the Zivkovic family from Padinska Skela

Almost two months after the realization of the fifth and the most successful season of the project “Trojka iz bloka”, Charity organization Serbs for Serbs has successfully helped family Zivkovic, a seven-member family from Padinska Skela. The members and volunteers of the charity organization Serbs for Serbs together with the famous Serbian basketball player, one of the vice presidents of KSS Igor Rakocevic, spokesman for the Forma Ideale company Nikola Ruzicic, the best European freestyle basketball player Nemanja Blazic-Triki and the popular DJ and member of the rap group THC LA FAMILIJA from Belgrade Sasa Ledic- Sale L. paid the final visit to Zivkovic family.

Help for the Milovanovic family from Loznica

Charity organization Serbs for Serbs is in the process of helping the eleven members of the Milovanovic family from the village Trbusnica near Loznica. So far 379,771 dinars were raised in effort to help parents Dejan and Sladjana along with their nine children: Milos (23), Miroslava (20), Gabrijela (17), Bojan (15), Bojana (15), Ivana (12), Andjela (9), Zdravko (6), and Borko (1).

3.598 messages to 7763 in November

At the beginning of March, 2015, the Charity organization SERBS FOR SERBS, in cooperation with mobile service providers Telekom, Telenor and Vip, started a national campaign for helping socially disadvantaged families throughout Serbia. During November, 3.598 messages were sent to the charity SMS number 7763, and a total of 52,615 messages since the beginning of the campaign. The charity campaign SMS TO 7763 continues. It is sufficient to send an empty SMS or an SMS with any text you want. Your message will be charged at 100 RSD (without the charge of your service provider). We extend our deep gratitude to all donors and friends of the organization who have taken part in the charity campaign of the organization SERBS FOR SERBS.

Serbs for Serbs helped family Vuksanovic from Novi Pazar

Saturday, 26th of November 2016. , representatives of Charity Organization Serbs for Serbs visited family Vuksanovic from Novi Pazar. Family Vuksanovic make father Srdjan and five daughters Milica (23), Milena (21), Miljana (19), Vanja (17) and Vinka (14). Majka Snezana died, so all care of family fall on father Srdan and oldest daughters.

Serbs for Serbs active in Australia

This passed weekend, members of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs in Australia had the opportunity to have a stand at the picnic of St Petka from Rockbank near Melbourne. While enjoying themselves and meeting guests, members were able to introduce parishioners and visitors to the work of our organization. The event was a success, along with introducing visitors to our work, we were able to collect 275 Australian dollars to help impoverished families in the Balkans.  We would like to thank our friends from the church of St. Petka from Rockbank who allowed us to have a stand at their event.

SfS Visited the Nenadic family from Grahovo

Representatives from the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from Belgrade visited the five members of the Nenadic family from the municipality of Crni Lug, part of Bosnian Grahova. Members of the family include: father Cedo (50), veteran of the Republic of Serbia army, his wife Sanja (30), and their kids Nikola (13), Djordje (10), Ruzica (8). After the war and complete change in the demographic picture of Bosnian Krajina, life through great anguish is getting back to normal. Cedo did not want to abandon his ancestral home, even though it was apparent to everyone that Serbs had lost the war in Krajina and that many difficult years were to follow.

Help for the Krstic family from Boljevac

The day of November 27th was a busy day for members of the Charity organization Serbs For Serbs. Together with representatives of the sports federation of the Boljevac municipality, they were at their final visit with the seven members of the Krstic family. Thanks to the funds raised through the tournament Trojka iz Bloka held on August 2nd, we were able to assist the Krstic family in insulating the external part of their home before the winter. 83,560 din ($706.69 USD) was raised through the tournament, and another 1,500 EUR ($1567.72 USD) was donated by Serbian volleyball star Jovana Stevanovic. The total funds raised comes out to 285,930 din.

The new T-shirt of the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs with the print “BASTION SRPSTVA” is now available for buying in the sizes S, M, L, XXL AND XXXL. A model for women is also available, in the sizes M, L and XL. T-shirts are also available for order through the email: marketing@srbizasrbe.org, the official Facebook page www.facebook.com/srbizasrbe, and also in the boutique BUNKER (Dragoslava Jovanovica 13) in Belgrade. The price of the T-shirt is 1.300 RSD (male models), 1000 RSD (female models) + post expenses. For the orders made in Serbia, the expenses are paid upon receiving while abroad with electronic payment (with the note, for the T-shirt).

Charity organization Serbs for Serbs continues its growth across Europe. At the end of November, the business register in Norway, where more than tens of thousands of Serbs live, approved the registration of our organization with the name Humanitær organisasjon Serbere for Serbere on the address of Jensahagen 4, 4007 Stavanger. Also, a bank account was open in DNB Bank: 1503 83 80483, BIC/SWIFT: DNBANOKKXXX, IBAN: NO92 1503 8380 483, through which the donations will be collected. New help for the Daraban family from Bijeljina

Charity organization Serbs for Serbs helped a six-member Daraban family from Bijeljina whom we previously visited during November. This family has four underaged children. We helped them by buying materials for installing a new bathroom with a value of 2.934 BAM. The family consists of the fatherIlijа with his wife Snezana and their for childrenIlijа (11), Gabrijel (13), Dijana (15), and Ivana (16). During the first visit, the family was provided with logs and a wood burning cook stove, and our hearts were filled with happiness. In that time, we gave our best to make the winter as warm as we can for that family.

Serbs for Serbs on a working visit in Italy

Representatives of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from Belgrade were guests in Vicenza, in the first children's festival of Serbian folklore in Italy, sponsored by the Alliance of Serbs in Italy and hosted by KUD “Sloga”. Our representatives seized this opportunity to present the work and accomplishments of Charity organization Serbs for Serbs from the past eleven years. The main goal of this visit was to establish closer cooperation between our organization and the Alliance of Serbs in Italy in order for collecting and sending help, through our organization, to socially vulnerable families with many children. In this occasion, the cooperation was also established with the Serbian Orthodox Church based in Vicenza.
