Chicago rickshaw drivers

As the summer season in Chicago winds down and cold weather starts to roll in, Chicago’s Serbian rickshaw drivers community decided to reflect on this past season. In doing so, they decided to try and make a change for the better. The group of young Serbian men decided to pool together some of their hard earned wages and make a donation to help Serbian children in Kosovo. Last night, we had the pleasure of meeting a few of those exemplary young men and receive their donation of $600 for struggling Serbian families in Kosovo. These young men mostly work two or even three jobs and use the money they earn from driving rickshaws to help build their own future, but in this case, they heard the call to help others. And answer this call they did. On behalf of the Serbs for Serbs family, we would like to thank all of the Serbian Rickshaw Drivers of Chicago for their tremendous contribution.
